My system monitoring software shows PSU fan speed error warning all the time. Is this normal?
This can have 2 different reasons:

1-Older BIOS with too high minimum reading range or too high set minimum range

The measure range of some older BIOS is starting at about 2000 rpm. ENERMAX PSUs, depending on series, typically adjust their own fan speed automatically according to the thermal detector in PSU in the range of450-2000rpm. Therefore such older BIOS can not read the FM signal.

-> Please update your BIOS and, if possible, change the minimum reading range to:

PRO82+ / MODU82+: 400rpm

LIBERTY / LIBERTY DXX: 700 rpm

INFINITI: 400 rpm

GALAXY / GALAXY DXX: 1000 rpm

REVOLUTION 85+: 600 rpm

LIBERTY Eco: 400 rpm

2- Wrong FM connector connection

Some motherboards offer 2-4 FM connector sockets, but only 1-2 sockets can read the FM speed signal, the others offer only the power of f an d operating.

-> Please check your motherboard manual for info on these sockets or simply try connecting the FM conncetor to another socket and check if the FM signal is then received.
